Chabad Peru founded in 5748 (1987) by Rabbi Schneur Zalman (URI) Blumenfeld and his wife, Rebbetzin Shterna Sara - Shluchim (Chabad emissaries) sent by the Lubavitch Rebbe, MHM.
Rabbi Blumenfeld together with his wife have established many programs to revitalize Jewish life in the Capital of Lima and its surroundings.
